Practising Plaits

Week 4 Practising plaits- Lottie

See week 3 for notes.

Week 3 I learned how to plait hair and practised normal plaiting. In week 4 I practised normal plaiting again and the other plaits.

Normal plait:

I think I’ve developed my skills from last time, as the plait looks a lot more tightly plaited and stable than the previous one.

French plait:

From learning my basic plait skills I was able to achieve a French plait. I like the way I have pulled all the hair together to make a tight French plait at the top. As a French plait is four sections of hair it was a bit difficult knowing where to place your hands but once I started practising I got into the idea and started creating the plait.

Fish tail:

I learned how to create a fish tail by using two sections of hair and wrapping around from the hair at the back either side. I created the design I wanted and liked the way it looked. If I were to do this again I might loosen the fish tail plait design especially if I was going have it coming down side ways, then tighten it at the end.
